University of Westminster International Students House Scholarship

Situated in London, the University of Westminster was introduced to public in 1838. The University has a rich history and has been providing students with personal enrichment, cultural engagement and of course, academic excellence since its inception as the Polytechnic Institution in the 1800s. The university arrived at a major milestone in 2013 in which it reached its 175th anniversary.

This year, the University will award the Tony Shaw – International Students House Scholarship at University of Westminster to qualified students. This scholarship scheme is granted jointly with International Students House (also known as ISH, for short). ISH was established for the betterment of global understanding and provide a unique recreational cultural and social centre for British and international students alike. Tony Shaw is commemorated as one of the ISH founders.

The purpose of this award call is to provide financial help to candidates from developing countries, including middle-income countries. This call is available for candidates who want to attend a full time master’s program at the University. Qualified candidates will receive coverage for full tuition costs, living expenses, accommodation and flights to and from London. There is only one scholarship available so it’s highly competitive.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be an overseas student from a developing country, including middle-income countries. The following countries are considered to be “developed” and if you come from one of these regions, you are not eligible:

Australia, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta

  • Candidates must hold an offer for a full time master’s program in a subject offered by the Westminster Business School within the University. You can find out more here.

Application process

Should you be interested in applying for the Tony Shaw – International Students House Scholarship at University of Westminster, you must complete an application no later than May 31, 2019.

Before you can apply for this scholarship call, you must have applied for admission for a place on the postgraduate course of your choice and been offered either an unconditional or conditional offer. A scholarship application without an admission offer will not be taken into consideration.
