Are you considering pursuing your postgraduate qualification? Then you should take a look at the Making Matters Awards at University of Dundee. This scholarship scheme is available for UK/EU as well as overseas applicants. The scholarship will be tenable for the 2019-20 academic year.
The University of Dundee is one of the UK’s leading universities located in Scotland. It is globally recognised for its expertise across a range of discipline. The mission of this higher educational institution is to transform lives, working globally and locally, through the sharing, creation and application of knowledge. The University came into its formal existence in 1967 by virtue of a Royal Charter. A longstanding relationship with St. Andrews had ended. The University of Dundee was now free to grow in the ways it wanted to. The main campus of this university has undergone changes over the past 50 years. In the 60s alone, the building of the Dentistry building, the Tower Building and Bellmont Halls came into being.
This year, the University wants to attract more high achieving students to study the postgraduate programs in the field of Art and Design, Film Studies / English / Creative Writing. Therefore, applications are now open for the Making Matters Awards at University of Dundee. This program was founded by a DJCAD alumnus with the certain goal to assist students on the MFA Art & Humanities who may require extra financial means in order to undertake the one year course as full time students. This scheme may benefit one postgraduate student who may be granted the full sum or two qualified candidates, in which case the scholarship will be split.
The value of the scholarship is worth £ 1,200 for entry year only. It is meant to help with students’ living costs.

- Candidates must be applying to study a MFA Art & Humanities at the University to the value of the yearly giving total from the donor plus gift aid. In order to help students at the outset of the course, the scholarship will be paid at the start of the academic year which is in September 2019.
Students will be regarded on their potential along with their current academic achievement when assessing the award.
Applications for the Making Matters Awards at University of Dundee are open until June 30, 2019.
