UK, EU as well as international students are now invited to apply for masters scholarships at University of Warwick. This award call intends to provide financial support to outstanding students who wish to pursue any Sociology taught master course at the University. If that sounds like you then don’t pass this up!

The institution is proud of its strong performance in the Government’s Research Excellence Framework 2014 (REF), for both intensity and overall GPA. It is also in REF 2014 that the University of Warwick strengthened its position among the 10 best research universities in the UK.
This year, up to 10 masters scholarships at University of Warwick are offered for UK, EU and overseas students. This call is open to everyone commencing their MA study in the Sociology department in autumn 2019. Each award is worth $ 5000 in value. The scholarship will automatically be deducted from the students’ tuition costs.
There will be five scholarships reserved for Home and EU students and the rest is reserved for international applicants. Successful part time students will receive $ 2500 every year over two years.

Scholarship Application Method
Please apply for the masters scholarships at University of Warwick and pay your application fee no later than April 26, 2019. You must also submit your application for admission to study an MA program prior to applying for this call.
Kindly note that all supporting documentations for the University application, which also includes your reference, must be submitted no later than May 3, 2019.
Qualified students must obtain an offer from the University prior to taking up the scholarship.
You may also apply concurrently to other funding sources; however, it must be noted that all successful applicants who receive major tuition funding elsewhere will be disqualified.
Your case for support is expected to be no more than 600 words in length. It must also differ from the statement of purpose submitted with your application for admission to the University. Please address the following in your case for support:
- Relevant and interesting individual attributes, such as work experience, background, extracurricular activities, etc. what unique perspective do you possess?
- Your motivation for choosing your program
- Quality of the statement. Is it well-articulated, concise, engaging, etc.?
