Need funding to pursue your bachelor or master’s studies? Then you might want to consider applying for the Study Grants Call at University of Bologna. This award scheme is aimed at helping qualified and deserving overseas students who otherwise couldn’t fund their studies without this award. Up to 25 scholarships will be awarded this year so don’t miss your chance!
The University of Bologna is considered as the oldest higher educational institution in the Western world. Situated in Italy, its history is connected with that of the great names of literature and science, it is a keystone as well as a point of reference for European culture.
This year, the University is pleased to announce the Study Grants for International Students. This award call is intended to help overseas students financially to register for First Cycle, Second Cycle or Single Cycle Degree programs for the academic year 2019-20.
- Study grants that is worth EUR 11,000 gross (Unibo Action 2)
- Tuition cost waivers (Unibo Action 1)
Note that, the tuition fee waivers and study grants are assigned on the basis of GRE and SAT, for one academic year.

Students are eligible for Unibo Actions 1 and 2 provided they:
- Possess (or will obtain) a valid qualification for access to their desired degree program, issued by overseas institution (outside Italy). Candidates who hold a diploma issued by an Italian institution established outside Italy are also eligible
- Will take one of these tests by the application closing date:
These tests are skills and aptitude assessment tests that can be taken in authorised centres in several countries. The tests are in English and students must register for the tests on the websites of managing institutions.
- Are under 30 years of age

The closing date for applications is April 30, 2019 at 12.00 CET and the outcome of the scholarship will be made public in May 2019.

Kindly note that interested candidates must take the GRE or SAT exam by the application closing date. Students then must send their scores to the University. Please use the codes respectively: 7850 (GRE test) and 6993 (SAT test).
