Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham

The University of Nottingham is proud to announce the Developing Solutions scholarships for overseas students. This call aims to financially support high achieving students who wish to pursue their master’s studies at the University and make a difference to the growth of their home country. If this aligns with your goal, then the Developing Solutions scholarships at University of Nottingham are for you!

The first civic college was made available to public in 1881 in the city centre, exactly four years after the foundation stone was laid by W E Gladstone, a former Prime Minister. A benefactor who made themselves anonymous had offered £10,000 for the college to find a suitable building. The College then outgrew its original building after the WWI. Sir Jesse Boot presented a 35 acres of land at Highfields as a generous gift which was given as the solution. The College then moved in 1928 to what is now known as the primary campus. The University Park was known initially as being accommodated in the grandiose Trent Building. The College was then awarded its Royal Charter in 1948 and officially became the University of Nottingham. It is now able to award degrees in its own name.

The Developing Solutions Scholarship call was established in 2001. It has now become the flagship global scholarship program at the University specifically reserved for postgraduate master’s courses.
