Whether you wish to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate studies, you can still apply! Australian students are also welcome to apply for this call if interested.
Curtin University is famous for being the largest higher educational institution in the entire Australia. It is a public research university that ranks 20th internationally for universities under 50 (QS World University Rankings 2019). The University is dedicated to distinct high quality in research and teaching. Students have the chance and liberty to explore career pathways along with employment opportunities aligned to their degrees.
This year the Inspiring Innovation scholarships at Curtin University are open for applications for both Australian and overseas students. Both current and future students are eligible to apply if interested. This call is a bi-annual contest. There are up to two awards available this year and each grant is worth $ 1,000 in total.
Luckily, this call is available to several faculties within the university. If you are enrolling or are current registered student within one of these faculties, then you are suitable for this call:
- Centre for Aboriginal Studies
- Health Sciences
- Science & Engineering
- Faculty of Business and Law
This scholarship call is also available to students pursuing their undergraduate and postgraduate studies (both research and coursework are eligible).
Add to that the selection criteria of this call will rely on the following factors:
- Merit based
- Need based
- Candidates must fall within one of the following categories:
Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, permanent humanitarian visa, Australian permanent residents, or overseas student
- Candidates must be enrolling, intending to role or be currently registered as current full time students within one of the eligible faculties mentioned above (no limit on courses)
- Candidates must also be currently registered at an accredited university or college during the 2018-19 academic year. Applicants of all majors are welcome and highly encouraged to take part in this application
How to Apply
Applications for the Inspiring Innovation scholarships at Curtin University must be sent within one of the following stipulated timeframes:
- First entry deadline: June 1, 2019
- Second entry deadline: November 1, 2019 (application will open on June 1, 2019)
