This call aims at providing financial support to commencing international students who are undertaking studies in the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FEBE) at the University.

It provides a unique chance to follow a specific interest in a certain area of studentsâ€™ chosen course and opens up exciting new pathways for them to explore.
This year, the University is delighted to offer the FEBE Study Tour scholarship call. It was established to support and encourage students who have the desire to study with the FEBE with a long-term outlook to continue into Research Higher Degree Candidature.
The FEBE Study Tour scholarships at University of Newcastle are open to candidates who are commencing in a program within that faculty after having finished an official Study Tour undertaken through a partner of the University of Newcastle.
Up to 25 scholarships are offered this year and each is worth $ 3,000. It will be paid as a tuition fee waiver for studentsâ€™ first term of their studies.
- Applicants must be enrolled or enrolling in a program within FEBE (any year is welcome) on Callaghan Campus of University of Newcastle
- Applicants must fall within the overseas category and a full fee paying student
- Applicants must be full time students
- Applicants must not have, prior to this scholarship, commenced any studies at University of Newcastle
- Applicants must have finished an official Study Tour (with a partner of University of Newcastle) held on Callaghan campus in the two years prior to commencing their current study
How and When to Apply
Please provide important documents such as ID documents, educational qualification and citizenship. The University will also require any language tests such as IELTS or TOEFL. Should documentation have yet to be provided, then your application will not be regarded. You should also provide proof that you have taken an official Study Tour held on Callaghan Campus.
Your documents must be uploaded as a DOC, PDF, JPEG, DOCX or JPG files.
Applications for the FEBE Study Tour scholarships at University of Newcastle will be reviewed every month and offers will be made from January 2019. The closing date for this monthâ€™s session is on March 31, 2019.
