This year, the University is proud to offer the International Graduate Merit scholarships. Up to 15 International Graduate Merit scholarships at University of Melbourne will be granted this year to qualified and deserving overseas students who apply to a coursework program in the Faculty of Business and Economics.
The value of the scholarship ranges between 25 â€“ 50% fee remission for the whole duration of the studies. The applicable studies area are management, economics and commerce.
All interested candidates are strongly recommended to make sure that they meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the awards beforehand. If you fail to meet the following criteria, then rest assured your scholarship application will not be taken into consideration.
- Be an overseas student
- Apply to a coursework program offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics

When choosing qualified students for the awards, the scholarship selection panel will be relying on the following criterion:
- Academic merit: this will be the results that students achieved in their most recent year/s of study
Should you be interested in applying for the International Graduate Merit scholarships at University of Melbourne, you might like to know that you do not need to submit a separate application for this call.
All students will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Therefore, students only need to submit their applications for admission into their desired program. Therefore, you only need to apply for the desired program before the stipulated closing date for the program.
Candidates will know the outcome of the scholarship only if they are successful. In other words, unsuccessful candidates will not be notified. Qualified students commencing in semester 1 will be notified by mid-February while those commencing in semester 2 will be acknowledged by mid-June.
